Reglement (für den Verkauf?) des Priestertums der Nike.

Opfern sollen auch die, die Hochzeiten in dem Heiligtum veranstalten,ein ausgewachsenes Opfertier von 30 Dr. Opfern soll auchvon den anderen jeder, der will, ein Opfertier, welches Brauch ist, an den Tagen,an denen zu opfern erlaubt ist. Der Priester soll bei denOpfern, die das Volk am 20. des Monats Petageitnyosveranstaltet, an der Prozession teilnehmen zusammen mitdem monarchos und den hieropoioi und denjenigen,die in den Kranz-Wettkämpfen gesiegt haben, und dabei einpurpurfarbenes Gewand und goldene Ringe und einenKranz von Ölzweigen tragen. Dieselbe Kleidung soll erin dem Heiligtum tragen und bei allen anderen Opfern,lebenslang aber ein weißes Gewand, und er soll sich rein haltenvon allem, wovon sich reinzuhalten auch den anderen Priesternvorgeschrieben ist. Von den Opfertieren soll er als Ehrengaben nehmen:von Rind oder Schaf Haut und Schenkel, von den anderenSchenkel. Die Opfernden sollen auf dieOpfertische auflegen von den Opfern für die Göttin; sie sollenauch in den Opferstock werfen von den Rinder-opfern für jedes 1 Dr., von den anderen (für jedes) 3(?) Ob. Davonsoll die eine Hälfte der Nike sein, die andereHälfte dem Priester. Öffnen aber sollen denOpferstock die Vorsteher zusammen mit dem Priester jährlich2 Mal; die entstandenen Kosten für die Öffnungsollen sie von dem nehmen, was (im Opferstock) gefunden wird. Damit aberauch die Prozession für die Göttin noch glänzender veranstaltetwerde, sollen die vom Volk gewähltenKitharaspieler die Knaben anführen, die das Trankopfer(-Lied)auf der Kithara spielen, so wie dies auch bei den anderenProzessionen geschieht, sie selbst aber auf der Kithara die Lieder spielenund - - -- - -
